When i using the Google Chrome browser and go to web.archive.org page, you may see a message after few seconds to get an URL says "Wayback Machine failed to return archive information." appears when the network connection to have a timed out but i cannot get an URL in Wayback machine page for google chrome and didn't any problems. You encounter this behavior because of the prediction option that is activated in Google Chrome. To prevent this from happening, you need to turn this option OFF. This can be done by pressing the Option button from the main page of Chrome, Settings, scroll to the bottom of the page and select Show advanced settings and under the Privacy area make sure that Use a prediction service to help complete searches and URLs typed in the address bar is not checked. To be noticed that predictions are made based on the history of the browser. To prevent this from happening, you can clear the history.

It depends on which type of user you are. I've got quite a lot of buddies who work as software developers, and these buddies swear every time I mention Google Chrome. First, it's less safe than Firefox or, say, Opera. Second, if you need to read the page code, Chrome's options are way more kodest than those of Firefox. As a result,



1) Firefox is the browser of choice for the folks who want to delve into the code;



2) Opera lies closer to the geeky side of the user range;



3) Chrome is the choice of the regular user.



I venture to presume, you belong to the normal users, since a geek or a code maniac would never ask such a question Click to viewsmiley

In order to remove add-ons/extensions/toolbars from Google Chrome, you will need to access the Wrench icon (upper right under the X button) > Tools > Extensions and locate your toolbar on the list that will open and then click the BIN icon located next to the toolbar on the right side.


You don't need to restart your browser as the changes are instant.

I have downloaded and installed on my Google Chrome app for Windows, but i open on my app and go to the Uloz.to Disk website were anyone. If reason why Uloz.to website is discontinuing its file hosting and file synchronization services are getting away? I can't search and download any files on my website but it was shut down, but Uloz.to Disk website is now gone (as of December 2023) and no longer receive any downloads.


R.i.p. Uloz.to Disk (until 30 November 2023), you will be missed.

Yes, it seems that Uloz.to Disk has discontinued its file hosting and file synchronization services, as their website is no longer accessible as of December 2023.

The faulty plug-in is caused by another component or website. Since the plug-in is installed when you install a toolbar from the same company, then you can perform a new installation of the toolbar or obtain a new version of the plug-in you are currently using. Usually a simple re-install fixes a lot of things including these errors. Also, you can append a simple function to the start-up line of Chrome to disable any dialogues that annoy you.


Right-click Google Chrome's shortcut and add --disable-hang-monitor after Chrome.exe.

Open Google Chrome menu --> go to the Settings --> open Advanced settings --> Privacy --> Clear browsing data --> select the Beginning of Time --> select Password --> click on Clear browsing data and your all save passwords will be permanently delete from the browser.
